Mission
The MOB at Crossroads Christian Church exists to equip and encourage men to follow Jesus Christ in every aspect of their lives. Crossroads wants to challenge each man to be a man of God in his home, workplace, church and the world.
"And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others."
2 Timothy 2:2
"A person standing alone can be attacked and
defeated, but two can stand back to back and conquer."
Ecclesiastes 4:12
It's tempting to believe that we're strong enough to handle life on our own, but the truth is that we as men are most vulnerable when we're isolated from other men. When God's Man stumbles it is almost always because he's alone and disconnected from other believers who can help him through.
We all need brothers we can trust, a group of Godly men who will help us face our fears, our trials and our secrets. We need a place of security, support, growth and accountability. We need The MOB.
The MOB is all about connecting the men of Crossroads with other men and with God. We do that through Bible Studies, monthly Saturday morning breakfasts, summer and winter retreats, mission trips and "Linked Up" (our annual golf tournament). We also offer one-on-one discipleship/mentoring opportunities for new Christians, those desiring accelerated spiritual growth or for those simply wanting encouragement or accountability in any area of life.
If you have any questions at all about the Men's Ministry or want to be paired up with a mentor, feel free to call Sean Peters, Associate Pastor of Discipleship, at 707-446-9838 or fill out a communicate card on Sunday morning and place it in the offering basket.
