Do you have hurts, habits or hang-ups that just seem to be out of control? Celebrate Recovery is a free program that addresses life's toughest issues, and it's open to anyone in the community who is experiencing pain, brokenness, or just needs support and encouragement.
How do I get started?
It's very simple. Come to a Celebrate Recovery meeting on ANY Friday night at 6:30.
Celebrate Recovery meetings are located at Crossroads Christian Church, in the worship center, on ANY Friday night at 6:30pm. Witness for yourself the healing power of God as seen through this amazing program of recovery! There is no cost for this program, it is entirely FREE!
What happens at 6:30?
We start with worship, followed by a live testimony or a lesson.
When you arrive, you will be greeted and given a bulletin for the evening. Come on in and grab a seat! We start with a time of worship, followed by either a live testimony, ora teaching on one of the 26 Lessons of recovery. This part of the evening is called the 'large group' meeting and goes from 6:30-7:30pm.
After the large group time, where do I go next?
First time attendees are recommended to go to the Newcomers 101 class.
If this is your first time to CR(Celebrate Recovery) we ask you to attend Newcomers 101, which is an informational meeting telling you about how the program works. This meeting is held after the large group meeting time, from 7:30-8:30pmin Room 2. It's also an open forum for you to ask questions and voice concerns. You only need to attend the newcomers group one time before attending the small groups. The next time you come, you will pick a small group to attend during this hour from 7:30-8:30pm.
What are small groups?
Small groups are designed for you to share what is going on in your life in a safe environment .
Small groups are issue specific, gender specific groups that meet from 7:30pm-8:30pm in individual rooms. You will have an opportunity to share what is going on in your life in a safe and confidential environment. Right now, we have Men's Anger, Co-dependency, Addictions, and Sexual Addictions small groups. For women, we have Co-dependency, Addictions, Food Issues, and Emotional/Physical/Sexual Abuse small groups. You can choose on a weekly basis which group to go to and you do not have to attend the same small group each week.
What happens in the last hour from 8:30pm-9:30pm?
This is a time for open fellowship with other people who struggle with the same things you do, while enjoying food and drinks.
The final hour, from 8:30-9:30 is our fellowship time, known as Solid Rock Cafe! Come join us as we get together, have some delicious snacks and drinks and get to know each other. This is when you can develop relationships and talk to others who struggle with the same things you do. It's a time of encouragement, love and connection. Help yourself to the FREE resources we have available on the information table, which include issue brochures and pamphlets. This is also a time to check out a recovery based book from our library or buy a CR t-shirt to wear!
